Introduction

I am creating this blog as a travel diary and way to share our experiences while on the road. This is being started just a few days before our Grand Tour of Europe, but I hope it will be useful in this way again for future adventures.

I understand the internets are available in a lot of places now. Hopefully one of the many devices with web browsers we will be lugging along will enable us to make regular updates. I've never been so "wired" for a vacation before.

I hope this will be interesting and not too poorly written. At the very least, Bob and I will have a record of our amazing adventures.
